It’s A Ticket to A New Life
The Rescue Kit provides a handout, a temporary solution of comfort for a person who is homeless. Each Rescue Kit has a Meal Ticket inside with a map to a partner agency. There, they can get real help, a “Hand Up” that extra set of resources to keep them off the streets for good.
We’ve all seen people living on the street with a cardboard sign. Now you can hand them a Rescue Kit and say, “I have purchased a meal for you, there’s a map to where on the Meal Ticket.”
The Rescue Kit is designed to engage and utilize people like you and me. By working together with partner agencies, we can finally eliminate homelessness in our communities.
It’s Easy To Make A Difference For Someone Suffering Hardship
Many of our partner agencies have Life Recovery Programs. A long-term residential program offering comprehensive help and hope for men, women and children in desperate circumstances, such as chemical dependency, domestic violence issues, or destructive relationships. Their curriculum offers general life skills application, recovery and relapse prevention training, mentoring, physical fitness and cultural recreation. Our goal is to enable men and women to establish healthy relationships and to develop good choices that will benefit their lives and those around them. This long-term program provides the support necessary for recovery, restoration, and empowerment to sustain a healthy and whole outlook for the future.
